Anne Derby Montgomery is a lifelong artist residing in Charlotte, Vermont with her husband and 4 children. A born and raised Vermonter, Annie graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park earning her BA with a double major in Painting and Art History.  She also attended the Maine College of Art summer program in Portland, Maine, and went on to study painting, printmaking and art restoration in Venice, Italy at La Scuola Internazionale di Grafica di Venezia. Her studio is located in the Soda Plant in Burlington, Vermont.
